Flurbiprofen is a propionic-acid NSAID that non-selectively inhibits COX-1/COX-2 to relieve pain and inflammation. It is used systemically for musculoskeletal pain and dysmenorrhea, topically/ophthalmically to control intraoperative miosis and post-surgical ocular inflammation, and in lozenge form for sore-throat relief.
