Enclomiphene citrate is the trans-isomer of clomiphene and acts as a selective estrogen receptor modulator, blocking estrogen negative feedback at the hypothalamus to raise endogenous LH/FSH and testosterone output. It is used and investigated for secondary hypogonadism and ovulation induction, offering a more targeted estrogenic profile than racemic clomiphene.
