Cabergoline

Cabergoline is a long-acting, ergoline-derived dopamine D2 receptor agonist used to treat hyperprolactinemia and, at lower doses, as adjunctive therapy in Parkinson’s disease, where it helps control motor symptoms by stimulating striatal dopamine receptors. Its long half-life supports twice-weekly dosing in prolactin disorders.
